The University of Tuzla was founded in 1958. Situated in the city of Tuzla, Bosnia-Herzegovina, the public university has an academic staff of 500 and just over 10,000 students. Tuzla offers over 80 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.The University of Tuzla has the following faculties:

The university offers a number of scholarships through the Erasmus programme and has cooperative agreements with 40 other universities across the world. Student life includes comprehensive sporting facilities especially a strong basketball team, accommodation and libraries.
