University of Isfahan (UI) is a state-operated university in Isfahan and among the top 10 comprehensive universities of Iran. Built it 1946, University of Isfahan has been one of the major universities in the fields of sciences, humanities, and engineering. The university is located in Azadi square of Isfahan. UI offers a wide variety of courses at Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels full-time. The University has thirteen faculties, about sixty departments, and several research centers. University of Isfahan includes more than six hundred full-time academic members. The student body consists of about 6,500 undergraduate students and 7,500 graduate students from thirty provinces and other countries.
