The University of Economics, Prague – as its name suggests – is one of the foremost institutions in the Czech Republic for studying economics, as well as business and information technology. Home to almost 20,000 students, the university has three campuses – one in the city center, one on the edge of Prague and a third over 100km away.
Teaching at the university is split across six faculties: Finance and Accounting, International Relations, Business Administration, Informatics & Statistics, Economics, and Management.
According to university figures, over three-quarters of graduates remain in Prague after completing their studies. A 2011 study found the university’s graduates were among the most sought-after by employers in central Europe.
Over 400 students from the university spend a semester abroad every year and 14 percent of students at the university are international. More than 90 programs at the university are taught in English.
