A private Catholic university situated in Zapopan, Mexico, the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac was founded in 1962.
The language spoken and taught at UNIVA is Spanish, but international students are still very much welcome. Fun fact – Ximena Navarrete, the winner of Miss Universe 2010 competition studied at the university.
