Surrounded by nearly 250 miles of coastline on the north, east and south, the Dominican Republic is known worldwide for pristine white sand beaches that are lapped by the warm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. These distinct cultures still drive the social identity of the people today. Every aspect of the food, music, art, sports and religion provides a unique insight in to the development of their country. As the first city founded in the Americas, the Dominican Republic’s capital city of San to Domingo boasts an incredible collection of museums, historic sites, art and music.

Universidad Central del Este (UCE) is located in the historical city of San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. San Pedro de Macorís is in the southern eastern of Dominican Republic, just 60 kilometers away from the Dominican Republic´s capital city of Santo Domingo. San Pedro  is recognized by its architecture, sugar industry, Industrial park and the baseball major league players. San Pedro is located in the center of the touristic corridor, which includes  Juan Dolio, Bayahibe, Casa de Campo, Cap Cana y Punta Cana.

UCE has a branch  at Punta Cana with a focus in Toursim and Business that will open on May 2019. The programs that will be offered are Postgraduate Programs and Continued Education Courses.

UCE is well recognized for its orientation to professional practice since the first semester of any academic program until graduation.
