Ranked 53rd in Latin America in the 2016 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Region, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León is spread across seven campuses in the northern state of Nuevo León, Mexico. Home to the third largest university population in Mexico, UANL also has an open-air stadium, center for research and development in food sciences, aquatic center and a successful American football team (the Tigres).
