The Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, Costa Rica, (ULACIT) is based in downtown San José and Barrio Tournón in Costa Rica, close to art and culture centers and entertainment venues.
While the main language of instruction at ULACIT is Spanish, some programs are entirely taught in English. In fact, as many as 9% of ULACIT´s students are international, with 26 nationalities represented on campus.
On-campus resources at ULACIT include high-tech laboratories for dentistry and engineering students, a dentistry clinic, a virtual platform called Blackboard and regular events and talks on campus of national importance.
Research shows that ULACIT students rank among the most employable graduates. An internal study found an employability rate of 98.1%.
A number of scholarships are offered to international and local students, covering up to 100% of tuition fees.
