Saint Petersburg State University of Economics (UNECON) is a leading public university of economics in Russia. University was founded in 2012 through the merger of three largest economic institutions – Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance (FINEC), founded in 1930, Saint Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics (ENGECON), founded in 1906 and Saint Petersburg State University of Service and Economics (SUSE), founded in 1969. Today it’s one of the nation’s foremost universities known for its high-standard economic and business orientated education.
