Founded in 2000, Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) has rapidly developed into the largest multi-disciplinary university in Macau and is also ranked as the youngest university among the Top 50 Universities in the Greater China. Macau SAR government has authorized M.U.S.T. to award academic degrees at doctoral, master and bachelor levels; to cater to different interests from different people, M.U.S.T. offers approximately ten programs that are conducted mainly in English, with some conducted either in Chinese, Portuguese or Spanish. In addition to local students, M.U.S.T. attracts students from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and rest of the world. Currently, there are approximately 11,000 students studying at the University, including approximately 3,200 master and doctoral students and 7,700 undergraduate students.
