Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky (DonNUET) – Ukrainian higher educational establishment with 98 years of history which predetermined the development of national economy of Ukraine by its educational and scientific activities, trained more than 150 thousand experts in the field of economics and trade, which was and remains the powerful research and educational centre.
The pioneers of the major innovations in the university’s activities, the main driving force of the development, leaders in science and education were university rectors, including the first rector M.V. Ptukha, then academician K.H. Voblyi, professors P.T. Rudenko, S.A. Minkevych, O. D. Ivanchykhin, O.A. Bairachnyi, F.D. Fesenko, V.M. Filippov, I.V. Soroka.
