About

The Film and TV School (FAMU) is part of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (AMU), a public university-level art school. It is one of the oldest film schools in the world, having been founded in 1946.

FAMU’s programmes involve theoretical and practical preparation in accredited academic fields in which students are guided through artistic and experimental production, as well as through organisational and management work in the areas of film, television, audio-visual production, photography and new media.
